HAPPY SUNDAY TO ALL MY AVID FOLLOWERS!
A couple of people have asked me why I’ve gone so quiet because they’ve been waiting anticipatingly for chapter five of “Dubbed The Murderer”.
Well, let me answer that.
It has nothing to do with writer’s block. Though, that would be easier than what I’m dealing with at the moment.
Currently, I am studying two courses at TAFE. One is the Diploma in Counselling, and the other is Certificate IV in New Small Business.
As we all know, assessments are part and parcel of studying, and so, it comes as no surprise I have a few.
The tricky part? They’re all due within a couple of days of each other in week starting 10th April!
For the last two weeks, from the time I’m awake to the time I hit the pillow, all my time has been spent at TAFE, thinking about TAFE, or doing an assessment not to mention the driving. And ,so, for now, I call the library my home. All I need is a bed in the corner and I’m set for the rest of term haha.
Before I get the “what were you thinking?”, or “those courses are full on!”, I was aware of that going in. The only thing I didn’t consider was it’s been a good 17 years since I’ve studied anything, meaning it’s been a bit of a shock to the system. Additionally, I have the mental health concerns to think about and their triggers – stress being the major one. Thankfully, the TAFE has things in place which I can utilise in order to complete my assessments while keeping the stress levels to a minimum. Of which I will be taking advantage of from next week.
The reason I’m sharing this with you is so you will know and understand (hopefully) that when I’m quiet, and haven’t written the next chapter, this is why. Please be patient with me as I further my skills and knowledge which will help me exceptionally with running my business, conducting workshops, and speaker all in the name of empowering women with my book as the inspiration for the adventure.
If any of you pray, could I ask you to keep me in them and for the ability to cope and complete all my tasks over the next 9 months.
Keep the communications coming. I love hearing from you and am interested in what you have to say.
Much love xx
